New walks in London highlight Museums
Visitors to London are being offered new ways to explore London’s museums and galleries. The largest concentration of museums and galleries in the UK is highlighted in a new map leaflet ‘Museum Mile – A new slice of London’.

The mile, between Kingsway and Euston Stations, provides an insight into London’s past and present, including six historic squares and 17 museums. Internationally renowned attractions such as the British Museum and Courtauld Institute of Art sit alongside less well-known collections such as the Theatre Museum and the Pervical David Foundation of Chinese Art.

Discover London Trail
The Campaign for Museums has published 11 ‘Discover London’ trails on the Internet, to provide a fun way for visitors to explore the city’s attractions and heritage.

Themed walks cover the length and breadth of London, including a Literary Houses Trail from Chelsea to Hampstead, Glorious Gardens and Riverside Villages, exploring Kew and Richmond and a Children’s and Family trail from Bethnal Green to Covent Garden.
