How large are your tours?
Our tours range in size from the teens to the thirties. We keep the size small in order to maintain the quality of the tour experience.

Are meals provided?
A full Scottish buffet breakfast is included every morning at the hotels. Seven dinners are included, some of which will have entertainment.

Do I have any freedom within the pre-planned itinerary?
Yes - we have "built in" opportunities for exploring on your own.

What type of accomodation is provided?
The hotels we have chosen are three star or better, and all rooms will have private baths. The hotels have been chosen for their ambiance and picturesque nature. We avoid standard, non-descript chains.

What type of transportation is provided?
Tour participants will travel in an air-conditioned luxury coach, equiped with comfortable, spacious seating. Drinks, snacks and restrooms will be available on board.

What have past customers had to say about our tours?
Here's just a few of the many kind things past travellers have had to say.
"Thank you for your excellent planning, courtesy and service. Everything went very well and everyone had a good time. You showed the patience of Job with some members of our group and we really appreciate it." Rex Mobley, Ph.D., Professor of Management

"You have thoroughly spoiled us. We keep smugly telling people on other escorted tours about the kind of treatment to which we are accustomed, and complain that we can't always get that."
Sandra Smith, Head City Librarian

Are there provisions for people with disabilities?
There is a fair amount of walking involved on the Scotland trip, as we will be touring castles, historical sites, distilleries and so forth. Some of these sites are more disability accessable than others. If you have questions about a specific situation, please contact the office of Texas International Tours in Dallas, Texas, USA, to discuss your particular need. Contact can be made by e-mail, telephone or fax. See the bottom of this page for contact information.

What about site entry fees and shopping?
The tour fee includes entrance fees to all site and activities
listed in the itinerary. There will certainly be time available for shopping in many locations. Most of the historical sites we will see have gift shops, and there is plenty of free time allocated in Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow and other towns along the tour.
