Accommodation Description:
We hope you will enjoy the leisurely pace at which the hotel operates. Enjoy the ever changing colours of the mountains and forest, the tumbling waterfalls on our doorstep and lush summer gardens.

We hope you will enjoy the leisurely pace at which the hotel operates. You can enjoy the ever changing colours of the mountains and forest, the tumbling and rushing waterfalls on our doorstep, the dancing daffodils in spring, the lush gardens in the summer. At bedtime relax in total peace after an excellent dinner

You could leave the hotel and walk all day without taking your car, visiting the mountain biking and walking trails of Coed-y-Brenin on our doorstep or visit one of the several waterfalls or gold and copper mines that nestle within the forest around the hotel, fish the salmon and sea trout on our own stretch of the Mawddach river. Or tour a little further a field to visit the beaches or the high mountains and castles of beautiful North Wales. Under new management for 2008, we hope to make your visit to this wonderful area a most enjoyable one

With the Welsh name of 'Eryri' meaning ' the place of the eagles', Snowdonia National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty covering 838 square miles and containing some of the most magnificent scenery in the country, including the beautiful Cader Idris just 5 miles from the hotel just hidden from view but visible from the precipice walk which overlooks the hotel.

Dining Facilities
Old Hall Restaurant - The old hall is the oldest part of the hotel in use. With stone walls, slate floors and warmed by a log fire the old hall provides a relaxed venue for your evening meal. The Shelley room is a beautiful Victorian dining room with a large part stained glass window overlooking the gardens to the south and a further window overlooking Coed-y-Brenin forest to the east. This makes the room a wonderful light room in which we serve breakfast in the morning.
