Dolforwyn Hall Country House, Montgomery

Accommodation Description:
Keith & Cheryl Galvin would like to offer you a warm welcome to their Country House Bed & Breakfast. The Hall is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Dolforwyn.

The Proprietors would like to offer you a warm welcome to their Country House Bed & Breakfast. The Hall is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Dolforwyn. Our eight bedrooms offer a choice of single, double and twin rooms and one family room, these are all en-suite rooms

The hall is a Grade II listed building, listed as an exceptionally good example of a picturesque Gothic Villa. The earliest structure on the site was a timber formed house dated 1595. The second range was constructed at the rear in the 1700s and the 3 bay front was built around 1830

It stands in 4 acres of wooded grounds overlooking the scenic Severn Valley. The hall's charm and character have been preserved, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The hotel is conveniently situated on the A483, 4 miles from Newtown, 7 miles from Welshpool and 5 miles from Montgomery

The UK's major motorway network is easily accessible at the M54 between Shrewsbury and Telford in a little under an hour. Dolforwyn is an ideal base from which to explore Wales and the borders.
