The Dingle is a commercial nursery augmented by 4 acres of south facing gardens on steep ground. Evergreens add year round interest to the very colourful planting schemes. A pool at the base of the garden adds further interest to this attractive small garden space.

Lymore Park

Maesllwch Castle

Plas Llangattock

Several listed buildings. Gentry house and garden, 19th century curved greenhouse.

Powis Castle

Steeply terraced garden in the grounds of a historic house. The garden was planted in the early 18th century. Clipped yews and old roses prosper, as well as tender and unusual plants. There are fruit trees on the terraces and an orangery. The views are superb.

Rock Park, The
A483, Llandrindod Wells, Powys. Public park created for a Victorian Pump Room. Trees and walk.

Tretower Court

15th century recreated garden with roses and period flowers surrounding a 15th century fortified manor house and medieval castle.

Vaynor Park Gardens
Off B4385, I mile from Berriew, near Welshpool. Open only on specific days, or by prior arrangement.
19th century parkland with remnants of a 17th century entry and garden terrace. The park is notable for its fine collection of mature trees. There are also roses and herbaceous borders. Excellent views can be had from the gardens.
