Recently awarded a Gold Award from Visit Wales for outstanding quality, exceptional comfort and hospitality. Lovingly restored 18th Century former shooting lodge with spectacular country views to the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are situated within a 300 acre hill farm

Excellent area for walking and relaxing, near to the market town of Llandelio, the reputed slow food capital of Wales. If you are looking for tranqil surrondings off the beaten track with a warm welcolme and hearty breakfast this is the place for you. We are close the Gardens of Aberglasney and The National Botanic Gardens and within easy driving distance of the spectacular coastline and beaches of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire

There are numerous castles to visit within a short distance including Carreg Cennon.There are a host of nearby pubs and restaurants serving good locally produced food.Carmarthen and Llandeilo also have antique centres and nearby Narbeth is an antique hunters dream

PLEASE NOTE; WE ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CASH OR CHEQUE (WITH GUARANTEE CARD) ONLY. Access;;The property is accessed from an unmade farm track of 0.5 milesdistance from the road

Luggage can be unloaded outside the house. Guests will be assisted with their luggage.Parking is 20 metres from the house

There is a step of 10cm from the parking area, which is laid to stone, on to a level path to the house.The entrance into the house (width 93cm) has two steps of 20cm and 25cm.All other doors are 95cm in width except door into bathroom which is 71cm

There are 17 steps to the upstairs each of 18cm high.There is a lip into the shower of 40cm.As there is only one bus through the village each day and none on Sunday it is advisable for guests to have their own transport

Directions:
At the end of the M4 continue striaght at the roundabout on the A48 at the next roundabout take the 4th exit (A476 towards Llandeilo) continue along this road after passing the second petrol station take the left fork (B4297 towards Maesybont) follow this road until it meets the B4300 after coming down a steep hill with a hairpin bend. Turn left at the junction and then 1st right after about 14 mile. Go past Dryslwn Castle and when you reach the crossroads with the A40 go straight across. Follow this road to the end (about 3 miles) at the T junction turn right and follow this road into the village of Llanfynydd go through the village and you will see the Farmers Arms (painted yellow) follow the road to the left here. The entrance to Cwm Ban Fawr is 12 a mile on the left from the Farmers Arms after passing one road and one other farm track on your left. The turning is just after a sharp right hand bend with a yellow salt bin on the left verge we are the second house down the track.
