Gower
Heritage Centre Off the A4118, near Parkmill, Gower Peninsula. In
1203 the Lord of Gower owned this land and established a mill, Parc
le Breos. There has been a working mill ever since, the water powering
it coming from the underground caves of the Brecon Beacons hills.
The mill does not sell to the public. It uses the flour it grinds
for baking goodies for the coffee shop on site and also grinds corn
and barley for feed. Besides
the mill, there is a 17th century miller's cottage, a blacksmith shop
(used for demonstrations and making chisels), and craft shops. The
area is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman.See
