The Hotel is set in a wooded spot high on the hillside just above the Monmouth and Brecon canal with magnificent views over the River Usk and the Black Mountains yet only half a mile from the town of Crickhowell The Hotel Ty Croeso, constructed from Welsh stone, dates from the early 19th century and was originally part of a Victorian Workhouse. It has been tastefully refurbished to provide every convenience for its guests.The traditional charm of the buildings is echoed throughout its stone walls and log fires On chilly winter evenings, the warmth of the real log fire in the lounge bar provides the perfect place to relax and unwind. While in the summer, the guests may wine and dine outside on the flower-filled terrace, taking in the panoramic views.All the bedrooms are en-suite with television, telephone, radio and teacoffee making facilities They are individually furnished to a high standard with pretty fabrics and splendid views over the valley or the garden.
