The beach is a mile and a half away and has a small free car park, or can be accessed on foot down a wooded valley. There is a stretch of sand at low tide with pebbles and rock pools. Welcombe is a village on the North Devon/Cornwall border, popular with walkers, surfers and families.

Visitors return year after year to enjoy the peace, quiet and natural beauty of the area. There is a large nature reserve nearby, as well as the coast path. The wooded combes and sunken leafy lanes are crowded with primroses in Spring.

Little Nod is situated on a small, secluded site of 12 bungalows behind a thatched pub, The Old Smithy Inn, which has an open fire in wintertime, serves excellent food, real ales and good wines. It also has wifi if you need to use your laptop. There is a village shop which offers a pre-ordering delivery service for your arrival and has internet access.

There is also a small working pottery. There are other pubs and shops in nearby villages and Bude is about 20 minutes away by car. Aromatherapy massage is available in the village.

Local attractions include The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Docton Mill Gardens, Hartland Abbey, Dartington Crystal and Rosemoor RHS Gardens. Dartmoor, Bodmin and Exmoor are all easily reached for a day, as are Eden and Heligan. This property offers 1 double bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom, bathroom with shower over the bath wash basin and toilet, lounge/dining room/kitchen, shared garden for residents only, patio with garden furniture.

There is a £1 coin meter for electricity. However the storage heater supply bypasses this, so you don't pay for it.
