Five good quality and well maintained holiday cottages situated on a small private and family-owned complex just outside the village of Scalby in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Appealing to families or couples this collection of pretty cottages have been meticulously converted from old stone farm buildings and range in size from 1 bedroom up to 4 bedrooms each offering a private garden and ample parking. Set in the stunning North York Moors National Park each cottage has open views and the advantage of its own private garden with patio and garden furniture.
Handy for Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and York they are an ideal base for getting around this lovely part of North Yorkshire. THE OLD DAIRY is a real cute, bijou little cottage ideal for singles or couples and is all on ground floor level making access easy. A small but well-equipped kitchen offers a fridge with freezer section, an electric belling cooker, toaster, microwave and a drop-down table for dining.
There is a combined double bedroom / sitting area with double bed and two comfortable armchairs with footstools and a separate good size bathroom with bath and shower over, wc and wash basin. Outside there is a private lawned garden and patio with furniture overlooking the fields and a super summerhouse with comfortable chairs and loungers. There is ample private parking and bike storage.
This cottage has the advantage of being all on ground floor level for easy access but is not adapted for disabled use. Not suitable for children or infants. Please note that although this cottage does not have its own washing machine, there is a laundry room nearby.
