The unusual Tunnels Beach is an idyllic place to spend a day at the seaside with its picturesque beach tidal pool and café all accessed via a system of amazing hand-carved tunnels.
The town also boasts an aquarium a range of shops and a harbour from where visitors can choose to take a fun boat trip out to sea. The town also enjoys a special connection with the highly-regarded British artist Damien Hirst who has chosen the town as the home for his largest work to date a huge bronze and steel sculpture of warrior woman Verity who proudly guards the town s harbour. The main living space is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner a stylish room with a contemporary edge which is flooded with that special quality of light that is unique to seafront properties. The dining table is positioned at one end of the room directly in front of the door which opens onto one of the property s private patios. The lounge area has comfortable seating with a Netflix-enabled Smart TV offering on-demand entertainment for all the family.
The kitchen area to the far end of the room is separated from the lounge space by a breakfast bar dining area beyond which guests will find an oven hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. There are two bedrooms in the apartment the first of which is a pretty double room which benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom is a light and airy twin room which has patio doors leading out to the property s second patio area.
The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Outside the property boasts two separate patio areas. One of these is a small sheltered area whilst the other is a larger space which extends to the seawall and offers a stunning spot from which to sit back and relax to the sound of crashing waves and the calls of seagulls.
(Children will need to be supervised at all times). There is a public car park just a few minutes walk from the property for which the owners can provide a parking pass at an additional cost.
