A short stroll across Wadebridge s historic 14th century bridge with its 17 arches the property is well-situated to enjoy and explore the town s interesting selection of eateries pubs and shops it even has a compact two-screen cinema that plays all the latest movies. The town is also the home of the Cornwall County Show ground that throughout the year hosts numerous events. Wadebridge is The Camel Trail is a great way to see the immediate area by bike or foot.
The path follows the meandering course of the wild Camel River west to the estuary beyond Padstow and Rock. Padstow is foodie heaven and is home to a handful of top seafood restaurants curated by Rick Stein. There are numerous galleries and access to the South West Coast Path from the small town s colourful harbour.
Catch a ferry over to Rock on the north bank of the river former home to poet John Betjeman and some great walks along the sand at low tide. Visit Sharp s Brewery for a tour this is where the popular ale Doom Bar is brewed. Travel inland in the opposite direction you will end up in Bodmin with its rows of galleries its ancient jail and views across the moors.
The second floor two-bedroom apartment is reached via a private external staircase. On arrival you will find a lovely roomy lounge with river views across to the main part of Wadebridge. You can see the Camel Trail as the cyclists and walkers travel between Bodmin and Padstow.
The room helpfully incorporates ample comfortable seating and a TV/DVD. The tastefully presented kitchen/diner has just about everything you need to cook up a storm including an integrated oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Both spacious bedrooms enjoying more views of the Camel River as it flows out past Rock and the famous Doom Bar into the Atlantic Ocean.
The first of which is a king size bedroom and the other is a twin. Nearby is the bathroom with corner bath and a separate double shower and WC. There is an unallocated space for one car to the rear of the property.
