Admidst the peace and tranquillity of rolling countryside on a 200 acre working farm with numerous footpaths and cycleways to explore these newly renovated and very comfortable cottages provide a perfect base for enjoying the diverse delights of the North East. Set near the owners' home they are only 20 minutes' drive from the many attractions of Newcastle and Gateshead including the Sage music venue Baltic contemporary art gallery and excellent shopping. The renowned Beamish Open Air Museum is just 3 miles away whilst the historic city of Durham with its magnificent cathedral and river boat trips is a mere 10 miles distant and the Durham Cricket ground is even closer. Great days out can be enjoyed further afield too taking in Hadrian's Wall Alnwick Gardens and the castles and gloriously unpsoilt coastline of Northumberland - all under an hour's drive. Shop and pub serving food 2 miles.
