A 17th century stone built cottage, in a quiet location adjoining the owners' home and set in four acres of garden and woodland just three miles from the little village of Tremadog.

Well furnished throughout, with an abundance of oak beams and rafters, a lovely exposed chimneybreast, fantastic slate floor and the original, steep and narrow wooden staircase with a 180 degree bend, this cottage is full of character. An ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts and close to a Sustrans cycle route, this is the perfect location for a romantic holiday, surrounded by wonderful mountains, valleys and lakes, and just 3 miles from the Welsh Highland Railway.

Disappointing
What a disaster- this cottage was dirty, damp and very smelly it was also very dark and the lights had to be on in the middle of the day. Very disappointed that we were not aware that the bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen and being a wet room the door had to be kept open to enable it to dry. The drains were smelly and the kitchen and bathroom dirty and the bedroom full of dust. My complaints were not heeded by the owner ( made through the agent Sykes cottages). I could not recommend this cottage at all. The area is amazing and the weather was fabulous but the cottage ruined our stay. I have asked for an apology but none received which is why I have to say how I felt. Very very disappointed

Amazing, tranquil and perfect cottage.
We stayed here for the weekend, with our dog and had THE best time! Perfect cottage, with all the amenities you need. Close to Porthmadog, Bedgelert and the beautiful black rock beach. We are just counting down the days to book again, we are definitely returning.

Fantastic
We booked this cottage 'blind' with no recommendations but are so glad we did! A quaint cottage, well equipped and dog friendly. Our dog loved it too! Looking forward to returning again in September. Thanks again it was just what we needed, piece and quiet with easy access to places we chose to visit.

Cefn Coch Isaf has a lot of character and is set in a beautiful if remote location, had the weather been kinder to us we would have enjoyed it even more.

Beautiful Holiday Cottage
When I called to arrange key collection I was advised of everything I needed to know, Very private cottage with beautiful views. The cottage was very well equipped, and very clean. The dog seemed to enjoy herself too :)
