WOW. Peace and tranquillity.
Absolutely fantastic cottage, beautiful views, astonishing landscapes! My partner and I were greeted by the most lovely lady on arrival and were both blown away by how accurate the description was. Great place for some peace and quite with a lot to see and do . We discovered some awesome pubs nearby with great food. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be returning soon.

Low Green Cottage is a lovely, well equipped, traditional style cottage. It was tastefully decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very recommendable as the cottage was in a quiet location but easy access to many surrounding attractions.

Second visit, first was in 2008 and it is still in such excellent condition and wonderfully clean. The sofas were lovely and clean and comfortable, and everything is just as perfect as we remembered. The owner was very welcoming and kindly made sure we were cosy and comfortable (which we were). A perfect bolt hole for us and so nice and handy for lots of lovely walking. Even the weather didn't bother us (flood and gale warnings issued for that week) as we were tucked up safe and warm in this lovely, lovely cottage. Thank you.

A lovely cosy cottage in a quiet setting. Being between the Dales and the Lakes made it perfect to see the best of both.
Mr Carlisle

Low Green Cottage is an ideal base for exploring Cumbria, Yorkshire and Lancashire, as well as being a much welcomed tranquil retreat. A warm, cosy cottage of high standards in both finish and content, with a much appreciated "Welcome pack." The Owners parents (who live next door) were very approachable and immediately made us feel welcome. All in all, an excellent cottage of high standards of which the owners should be proud of. Well done all & many thanks, hope to return again.
