Able to sleep up to four people in two bedrooms, this elegant property makes a great place for a small family or two couples.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the northern edge of the lovely Clwydian Hill Range, this lovely 18th Century stone-built semi-detached cottage is under two miles from Caerwys - one of Britain's smallest towns. This welcoming cottage comes with two attractive fireplaces and seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern comfort. Other accommodation includes a stylish fitted kitchen, separate dining room and a cosy living room. Well placed for all local amenities and activities, this lovely little cottage makes a great base for anyone looking to explore Wales.

Not a pleasant stay
Needs a deep clean, fridge filthy, cobwebs all over, behind the head board and next to the beds. Dirty socks left by previous occupant. Really disappointed with the cleanliness of the cottage, the area was very peaceful and could have made a great break. The gates on to the road are not pet friendly so be warned.

Absolutely lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location
We have stayed in many holiday cottages, and this is certainly one of the best. It is very cosy and well equipped, and we immediately felt at home. There were even home made cakes and a bottle of wine to greet us! It was very spacious for the two of us, but there would have been plenty of room for four people. The location is extremely peaceful, and yet it's not very far from the A55 North Wales Express Way. We were able to get to Conwy and Bodnant Gardens in less than half an hour, as well as exploring the Clwydian Hills and Denbigh/Ruthin areas. There is so much to see!

Can't wait to go again
This cottage surpassed all expectations. It's the cleanest and most welcoming cottage We've stayed in. There were four adults and two dogs but still lots of room. The welcoming pack was a lovely touch and we were given eggs during our stay from the owners chickens. The downstairs bathroom wasn't an issue and the area is lovely. Lots of walks and drives to go on. We will definitely come back, oh! And we left stuff behind which the owners kindly posted to us...thank you

Peaceful yet well located, excellently equipped cottage with warm welcome
We now book this cottage whenever we're in the area due to it always being well prepared and superbly located for North Wales. The location is so peaceful with excellent walks on the doorstep due to a good network of lightly used bridle paths and Caerwys is in easy reach. The cottage itself is very cosy, well equipped throughout, is always clean and recently equipped with Wi-Fi too. So often we have stayed in poorly equipped or misrepresented cottages, but this is not one of them! The beaches of North Wales are in easy reach due to the proximity to the A55.
