Absolutely lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location
We have stayed in many holiday cottages, and this is certainly one of the best. It is very cosy and well equipped, and we immediately felt at home. There were even home made cakes and a bottle of wine to greet us! It was very spacious for the two of us, but there would have been plenty of room for four people. The location is extremely peaceful, and yet it's not very far from the A55 North Wales Express Way. We were able to get to Conwy and Bodnant Gardens in less than half an hour, as well as exploring the Clwydian Hills and Denbigh/Ruthin areas. There is so much to see!

A lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Very welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and will recommend to other family members. We will be back again.

Loved the Wern Bach and the enclosed space for our dogs. The cottage was really comfortable and clean.

Lovely cottage in superb location
We really enjoyed our week at "Wern Bach". It is beautifully situated and fully equipped for a short break. Other plus points are: the location, quietly situated but within easy access of the major traffic route across North Wales; ample off-road parking; the welcome-pack (including treats for the dog); comfortable beds; a log-buner. Small negatives are: the central heating only stays on for an hour at a time; dogs have to be kept off the carpet, so effectively out of the lounge; no upstairs toilet. But for a week these minor inconveniences were far outweighed by the general loveliness of the property. The view from the bedroom across the fields, with no other house anywhere near, was a dream!

The personalised welcome was beyond expectation, as was the quality of the d?cor and general provision, with quality crockery and bed linen. It really felt like staying in a friend's home. This was by far the best appointed residence we have stayed at and in a beautiful location. Couldn't have asked for more.
