Lovely old farmhouse
Stayed here with my family during half term. What a lovely farm house! We met the owner who had the keys, he was friendly. The house itself is detached with your immediate neighbours only being ponies in the field, and the farm cats that visit everyday asking for food! The owners house is close by but a bit further down the track. Downstairs is tiled floors, with a large porch for leaving shoes. A good sized kitchen with plenty of everything you could need. A utility room with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier! A cosy lounge with tv and DVD player and a dining room. Upstairs there is a very large triple room, a large double, a good sized single room. All the rooms has plenty of storage and the heating/hot water was excellent. The house was clean, and whilst furnishings were not to my taste, they suited the farmhouse. A lovely enclosed garden with a washing line and plenty of space for parking. There were a few little negatives but really nothing big - The bathroom had no lock on it, which I think is needed and easy to install. The bath does have a shower attachment but does not have a shower curtain, so not very easy to use. The water pump under the bath is also very noisy so not suitable to use once people are in bed. The fridge freezer was very small considering you can sleep 6 in the house. A bigger one would be much better. No tea/coffee/milk included, which is a shame as is always nice to have. There were leaflets in the house for local attractions. The road up to the house is crazy bumpy but nothing a car can?t handle. I really enjoyed my stay at Bridge Farm, I would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our second stay as much as our first, 2 years ago. It is a very well equipped and clean property with lots of privacy, and sheep and horses around it! It was a quiet place to stay.

Very beautifull and tranquil area. Friendly owners. Great base for touring. We liked Salisbury and Winchester and driving trough the coutryside. Ladies: Southampton is great for shopping.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage gave us the peace and quiet that we needed. Would definitely book again.
Mrs Smith

The cottage is spacious, well equipped and a great hideaway in peaceful location. We plan to return in the summer.
