The Old Tack Room has been created from a former tack room (unsurprisingly!) which adjoins the owner’s house, and is now a delightful single storey holiday retreat.

Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the grounds of their equestrian enterprise in the peaceful village of Ibberton, this charming holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to an excellent standard, with beautiful views towards Bulbarrow Hill to the rear, which is one of Dorset's highest points. The accommodation includes two bedrooms and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining, and sitting area, and patio doors which open out on to the pretty and private garden. The scenic Ridgeway Trail passes close to the cottage, and a short meander will take you to the local pub which serves great food and real ales.

Family break
From the moment you get there you know it's special. A chilled bottle of wine and biscuits awaited us. We were met by the owner who greeted us with a friendly smile. The cottage itself has everything and is fully equipped. My children had the joy of meeting the 5 week old puppies recently born from the owners own dogs. Susie and Andy could not do enough to make out stay perfect. We will return to this beautiful cottage and it's surroundings. Erica, Ash and the girls.

Absolutely excellent place, clean and beautifully decorated, everything you could want for a holiday, in great position
This is an iydillic holiday location, the property is well kept well equipped and very peaceful. Lots of excellent walks on the doorstep but within easy access to most of Dorset's attractions. The garden is beautiful and secluded, the dogs were safe and enjoyed playing outside. For a peaceful getaway we couldn?t recommend this place highly enough, owners are friendly and helpful but don't bother you at all.

The owners have provided a lovely environment to have a relaxing holiday. Everything is there that you need. The garden is superb and completely enclosed. The cottage is in a lovely sleepy village. It has excellent access to everywhere in Dorset and wonderful walks on the doorstep. We thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants peace and quiet.
