This pretty holiday cottage is located in a wonderful, elevated position overlooking the Tweed Valley. With stunning views towards of the Cheviot Hills, this Victorian, detached, stone built cottage is situated on the main street of Chirnside village. With accommodation composed of a double, twin and bunk bedroom, a fitted kitchen with dining area and spacious lounge, this property makes an excellent destination for a group of friends or a large family.
Outside, visitors have use of an enclosed garden with barbecue and furniture.

A word of caution
I have recently returned from spending a week in this property. I was contacted by Sykes cottages to advise me that the owners of the property were unhappy about the level of cleanliness the property was in when our party left. I received photos of grass on a carpet, greasy glasses and toothpaste on the toilet sink. ? 80 was taken out of my account today to pay for extra cleaning. I do not believe this was warranted and want to post this review to ensure any potential future guests are aware of our experience.

This was a lovely flat with a sunny exclusive back garden. The beds and bedding were excellent. This house has WiFi, and is very spacious and roomy. A lovely stay.

The house is great (in space and experience, a party of 5). The shop was around the corner and open 7 days a week 7:00-22:00. A good start point for visiting England and Scotland.
