This terraced cottage is located in the town of Appleby in Westmorland and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

Eden Cottage is a traditional terraced cottage in the Cumbrian town of Appleby in Westmorland. The cottage has two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite) and one bunk bedroom which with the addition of a family bathroom, makes it suitable for six people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is a large garden with a summer house, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. With river views and its proximity to fabulous countryside, Eden Cottage is a lovely cottage in a superb area.

Lovely Stay
We had a lovely stay here with our three kids and little dog, the house has everything that one could want and is very clean and well equipped. It is central for access to Appleby and close to some lovely walks along the river. There is a good sized garden, that is mostly enclosed. We parked on the road opposite, but this gave us no problems. It is very well situated to explore both the Pennines and the Lakes, but is very pleasantly not overly touristy. The wood burner is lovely, and we would recommend comparing wood prices locally as they vary a lot. The lack of Wifi is the only drawback to the cottage and mobile reception poor with a little to the back of the cottage, but getting the teenagers off their electronic devices is not always a bad thing!

The cottage was well equipped and interesting with its artefacts and antiques. The Summer house overlooking the river was a real bonus. The owner was very helpful before holiday. The key safe was useful! The Instructions around the house were helpful. It was very comfortable for 4 adults.

Excellent location, very clean and modern. The beds are high quality and very comfortable with good quality bedding. Everything you would need. Amazing garden with deck, view and garden house. Very clean, both bathrooms modern with high powered shower. Everything you would need in the kitchen with a huge fridge. The view is fantastic. Lovely view of the river and church, everything on your door step so perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the city. We've been staying in Appleby as a family for 30 years and possibly one of the best cottages yet.

Cosy and comfortable
We have just spent 5-days at Eden Cottage. The cottage is home from home and has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped and the beds and bedding are of very good quality. We didn?t want to leave! The locals are very friendly and it was lovely to be able to take our dog almost everywhere we went. We would recommend this cottage to anyone. P Rawlings Knaresborough
