The Byre is one of four brick built barn conversions in a farmyard location on a 100 acre working cattle farm on the outskirts of the Shropshire village of Leighton near to Ironbridge. Boasting one double bedroom with a shower room, this cottage can sleep two people. Elsewhere in the cottage is an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, sitting room with an electric log effect stove and a dining area.
To the exterior of the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars and a front sitting area with outdoor furniture and countryside views. Just four miles from the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, The Byre is a wonderful holiday cottage for anyone wishing to explore this part of the country.

Comfortable, cosy warm cottage, with everything you need.
We stayed at the Byre for a long weekend. It was a base for visiting our family and it was perfect. The surrounding area must be the nearest thing to heaven in the UK. We had views of the cattle feeding in the barns and the pretty farmyard. We had a warm welcome from the owner and the farm dog and we hope to return for a longer visit so we can do some walking.

The cottage was very comfortable and roomy for two people. it was in a beautiful position just below The Wrekin and we had great weather. It is near to Ironbridge which we enjoyed visiting but even Ludlow wasn't that far away so we were able to go walking and sightseeing over much of Shropshire. The owners were very friendly.

We loved our holiday at Byre Cottage, it was just the break we needed, we recharged our batteries and thoroughly enjoyed the area. Our hosts were lovely, we found the whole farm lovely, and for a working farm it was so quiet. We would return. There was so much to do, and the scenery was amazing.
