Great cottage in beautiful coastal village
We found the cottage to be clean, comfortable, well equipped and as described by the owners. It's very close to the beach and set back and elevated behind the seafront cottages with a sea view from one of the lounge windows and a bedroom window. We enjoyed walks on the large beach and the beautiful coastal headland. The beach and rocks were great for bird life - curlew, dunlin, redshank, greenshank, turnstone, oystercatchers, etc and there's a colony of gannets at nearby Troup Head (walkable although we didn't). The Garden Arms pub do excellent bar meals and the local Seaman's Mission offer teas, coffees and cakes in the afternoon and evenings. We met lots of people both local and visitors and everyone was very friendly. We intend to go back to Gardenstown and would have no hesitation booking Ellie-Ann if available.

Ellie Ann Cottage
Just back from a very relaxing week long holiday in Gardenstown. The natural beauty of the area is stunning with lots to do for kids. Accommodation was good and big enough for a family of 4. We were spoiled with the weather, bright sunshine every day and long walks. This is our first time staying in this area and would go back, try it you won't be disappointed.
