The Cottage is a high quality, well-presented holiday home, formerly a Quaker Meeting House, in a quiet conservation area of Sherborne. This romantic property has a king-size double bedroom, and a further single with additional pull-out bad, making it ideal for couples or small families alike. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC.

Downstairs is an attractive open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner. Outside, there is a small graveled front sitting area, and parking can be found in the surrounding roads or local pay and display car parks. With the abbey and castles of Sherborne on the doorstep, and the beautiful Dorset countryside surrounding you, The Cottage makes an ideal base for a restful year-round break.

Second visit great cottage
Sherborne is a very verstown, lots of amenities and things to do.There are several places within easy driving distance nearby. A good base. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Although no parking the nearby long stay is resonbly priced and is free overnigh , Sunday's and Bank holidays.

holiday rental
This cottage needs some serious cleanliness and maintenance requirements to make it an acceptable rental. Tucked away in a small street with no parking, costs to use public car park daily round the corner. Very close to the heart of Sherborne. Did not stay for the week we had booked, but left a few days early as did not feel comfortable here. Very disappointing for the amount that we paid for this. Will not be visiting again.

We had a lovely weekend away at the cottage, in a perfect location. The cottage was clean and very comfortable, and very close to the town, so that we could explore at our leisure.

The cottage was lovely, just as nice as the photos, and Sherborne was beautiful.

Cute cottage has been tastefully restored.
Charming cottage with lots of character has been restored tastefully. It is small but we found it has everything we needed, even with our 2 grown up kids. Location is also excellent on pretty little George Street. Walk straight through the arch out to Cheap street, so picturesque. Parking was OK once we got used to parking in the long stay on Coldharbour. We recommend using Phone and Pay as it was less hassle than getting paper tickets each day. (?3.20 daily) The only minor downside is a noisy extractor fan on the back of the pub opposite the cottage. In the hot weather we had to keep the bedroom windows wide open and were aware of it. Just a small nuisance really, not a big issue. Everyone in our family (4 of us including 2 older kids) loved this place, would return if we can.
