We all loved this cottage! In general it was a lovely relaxing holiday and the owners were lovely and very helpful. It was remote and had a huge field attached to the cottage where the dogs could run. I would definitely recommend this property to people looking for a peaceful break. We would definitely book Curlew Cottage again.

A very warm welcome from the hosts. The setting of tranquillity, horses in yard and it was very comfortable throughout. There was good quality bedding and furnishings. Overall, a delight.

The situation of Curlew Cottage is one of the finest we have ever enjoyed during a short break. Utter peace and quiet, the sound broken only by the cry of curlews (yes, they really are there) and the occasional sheep. The view from the main bedroom window is superb. Northumberland is a county of great beauty and variety, still comparatively unknown (thank goodness!) and it is some years since we have been there. I was able to combine a speaking engagement at nearby Langley Castle with a wonderful short holiday.
