The Stables is located in Bellingham, a small and peaceful village, nestling between the hills and moors that overlook the North Tyne Valley and offers accommodation for groups of up to six people.
As its name suggests, The Stables was originally used to house horses, but has been tastefully converted to provide an idyllic retreat for a large family or group of friends. The property has its own wood-burning stove, so you can make the most of what the region has to offer, even in the colder months. For the summer, visitors can use the owners tennis court or indulge in a spot of alfresco dining in the private patio area at the rear of the property.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and set in a fantastic location which could not have been more perfect for us. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very, very tidy. The owner came round to welcome us shortly after we arrived, as did the housekeeper who was most helpful! .

Northumberland was beautiful and The Stables was perfect for our party. It was very rural, warm and comfortable. There was a washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, freezer and a well equipped kitchen, as well as a large dining table so we could all eat together. The landscape was great and the river was close by. Would thoroughly recommend The Stables and the county for a holiday.

The property and location were perfect for us. The three children loved having en suite bathrooms and plenty of space. The logs for the burner were well stocked and I would have no complaints.

Christmas was lovely in this beautiful cottage. The 3 en suite bathrooms with a seemingly endless supply of hot water made our stay feel very luxurious and the lounge with the wood-burner was very cosy.
