This 250-year old cottage is able to sleep a total of six people and is located just two miles from the Peak District village of Holmfirth.

This charming 250-year old stone cottage lies adjacent to the owner's house on a working farm, close to the centre of Hepworth and just two miles from Holmfirth. Boasting traditional features, such as oak beams, this cosy cottage is just a short walk from the village pub. Guests can enjoy free use of the owner's superb, indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room, and will be allocated private times to maximise privacy.

The property is able to sleep up to six people, making it ideal for a larger family. With plenty of activities on the doorstep, children are welcome to help on the farm with the hens, pigs, sheep, cows and other animals or to enjoy the nearby playground.

I had booked two cottages so that we could have a family get-together with my daughter who was over from New Zealand. We were able to all eat together in this cottage, often in the garden. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and we all had a wonderful time.
Mrs Inder

The use of a fantastic indoor swimming pool was brilliant and the owners were very welcoming. It was great that the children had the opportunity to get involved with animal feeding and egg collecting. The property had spacious bedrooms and plenty of drawers and wardrobes. A great week away, will definitely go back.
Mrs Purvis

A lovely cottage in a lovely location. The opportunity to feed the lambs and collect eggs was a bonus for my children. The pool was fantastic.
Mr Doyle

Great place for a relaxing holiday with children, they loved feeding the animals and egg collection. Swimming pool is brilliant.
Mrs Bean

Disappointing stay
This cottage is part of the larger farm with access to the pool, and small 'playground'. We were disappointed with the location as the children were unable to play on the climbing frame on their own, which meant that someone had to walk up from the cottage to watch them. The cottage is actually nestled in amongst houses in the village, which makes it difficult to sit outside in the evening, without (understandably) upsetting the neighbours. There do seem to be a lot of rules for things that don't necessarily need saying.
