Good Location
Well appointed cottage - 5 minutes to town & pubs/restaurants. Clean however 2 slight niggles - house hoover really smells bad (filters need to be replaced) & the windows were very dirty inside & out with the kids bedroom at the front having a visible gap causing large drafts due to the glazing units failure. Would not recommend putting kids in this bedroom

Excellent accommodation for all family
We are back from a week here at Eyemouth and must say this in ideal base to stay. 5 minutes walk from centre and harbour. The accommodation is great, yes has a few bits that could be improved but, on the whole is excellent. family of 5 with a small dog and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. great part of country and this is a great base to explore the borders. I would highly recommend this property for a stay in this area..

we found the cottage lovely but. we think we should have been informed about the demolition work next door as the noise and dust did not make it a peaceful holiday. the work my go on for long time as they my be building 90 houses there so be warned

Our accommodation was first class and was on a hill but not too steep and the harbour was only 10 minutes away. We were fortunate to see the seals in the harbour. There are a lot of interesting places to visit in and around Eyemouth, all within a 1 hour journey.

We enjoyed the holiday because Eyemouth is a lovely coastal town based around a busy fishing harbour and on a particularly beautiful stretch of the north east coast. The town centre is unspoilt with little alleyways and narrow streets and a home bakers shop. There is also a modern supermarket. There are pubs that serve good food and also interesting museums, including the Georgian Villa, Gunners Green, which has been opened up for visits. Part of the visit is about smugglers which children can take an active part in. Our 3 year old really enjoyed his visit there. There is a little sandy beach there which the children enjoyed. Also a beautiful cliff top walk to Coldingham where you can have a pub lunch and a bus ride back to Eyemouth. The accommodation was comfortable and there was adequate equipment and space for our party of 4 adults and two small children. It was also close to the town centre: about 10 minutes walk.
