Just a perfect cottage and garden, peace and tranquility!
Arrive down a long country track, the pretty cottage and garden at the bottom. First impressions - clean, smelled nice, uncluttered, well furnished, we later discovered that Dan had thought of everything, even a small torch and a box of age appropriate toys for the youngest family member! The state of the art heating was brilliant, plenty of hot water, beds and settee comfortable, cooker was good, no traffic noise and nothing in the house made a squealing noise etc, it was a quiet place. Careful thought has been out into Pwll Cottage to make a holiday as nice as it can be. Being able to walk out of the big garden straight into the wood was a bonus, other mornings we would walk back up the lane and across the road and carry on down to the deserted Marros beach. A lovely place to stay and Dan is a very helpful owner, couldn't have been better.

We loved the fact the cottage was set in such lovely grounds and were able to walk from the door a few times. Despite being compact in size, there is a clever use of space and the bedrooms were just right for the four of us. We felt at home very quickly and the large fridge/freezer made food storage easy. It was great to hear birdsong early every morning and again as daylight faded. Amazingly with the weather being somewhat mixed everywhere it didn't stop us going on several nearby beaches, the children enjoying the sea and sand.

The owner was very welcoming and he had a keen eye for detail. The cottage had a fresh modern decor and the cottage was toddler friendly with a well equipped kitchen. We liked the lovely quiet, rural location, with a short drive to great sights and amazing beaches.
