Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this detached single storey lodge is in the grounds of Fingle Glen Golf Hotel in Tedburn St Mary.

Fairway Lodge is a detached log cabin in the grounds of Fingle Glen Golf Hotel in Tedburn St Mary. It has two bedrooms, consisting of a double or twin, with one offering an en-suite bathroom. There is a family shower room, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Outside is a decked balcony with furniture. There is off road parking for one car, and use of the on-site facilities including the 18-hole golf course, golf academy, beauty suite and bar/restaurant, making Fairway Lodge ideal for a restful break for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Quiet, peaceful and restful, Fairway Lodge is situated in a central location for touring. The staff were also very efficient and friendly.

Be Aware, there are other Lodges.
Just returned from Fingle Glen after a week in one of the lodges. You do not know which lodge is yours until arrival. Ours was "Hay Tor" positioned between the 1st green and 2nd tee. Hay Tor is not screened from errant balls sliced from the tee. The lodge was hit twice whilst we were inside [luckily not sat out]. Moved the car out of the line of fire. The lodges are ideal for touring the area and are kept in very clean condition. The golf course is physically a toughy, with most people using buggies. The staff are excellent, and care that all is well for your needs. Likewise, the quality of the food will not disappoint. Would we return? Mmmm, possibly.

A good place to stay
We enjoyed our stay here in the cabin. We are not golfers - we were simply looking for accommodation. It is a quiet location although we could hear traffic from the nearby A road. We had a jacuzzi and the place was well equipped (although could have more crockery). It was perfect for us and a young child. Couldn't fault the layout and location. Staff were friendly, although saw very little of them as we didn't require anything. I would recommend for children as everything's on one level and little for them to get into. A great base to travel to Exeter or the coast as we did most mornings. Lovely to sit on balcony and just relaxing.

We had a great holiday; everything was as we would wish and the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend the property and site to friends. We will be returning!

The lodge was well situated on the golf course, and within easy walking distance of the golf reception and restaurant. It was adequately appointed and clean. The lodge was warm and had good heating.
