This stone-built cottage is situated close to Penrith and sleeps two people.

The Cobbles is a detached cottage, situated within the grounds of the owners' home in the small village of Winskill, 12 miles from Penrith. This cottage sleeps two people in a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner.

Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a patio area with furniture. The Cobbles is an ideal base for a romantic retreat close to walks, cycle routes and the Lake District National Park.

Loved the ambiance of the cottage with a lovely log burner to keep you warm but also creating an effect in this wonderfully well equipped cottage. The cottage is not isolated but set away from traffic with excellent parking with plenty of space. The shower room is first class with plenty of storage and ambient lighting and as much hot water as you could need. The bedroom has plenty of space and the bed is made up ready for guests. There is nothing missing from the kitchen you could think of everything is provided ( apart from food of course ) all linen towels and tea towels are included which sometimes is not the case with some properties. Everything was spotless and Margaret the owner seems very proud of this lovely cottage. We would not hesitate to stay here again , it is so accessible by A roads but peaceful enough that you're not affected by noise at all and very good value for money I doubt you would be disappointed.

The owner, welcomed us and gave us a lot of information to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The cottage was appointed to a high standard. Everything was provided.

The cosy little cottage was an ideal base for our stay in the Lake District. The cottage was amazing and the owners had clearly thought of everything. Beautiful cottage set in a gorgeous garden. Plenty to do and see. Excellent holiday - would recommend it to anyone.
Mrs Lynch

Delightful spot, quiet and secluded. Wonderfully well furnished and decorated. It felt as though it was brand new and we were the first people to use it. Comfortable with everything we needed to hand. Very pleasant and helpful owners.

I liked the look of the cottage and it was the same as it was on the internet. I like the idea of a outdoor swimming pool near the cottage, the surroundings and cottage were very clean and tidy.
