This terraced cottage is located in Windermere and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Cosy Nook is a terraced cottage in the popular Lake District village of Windermere. It sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with an en-suite, a twin room and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside is a small patio with outdoor furniture. Just over a mile from Lake Windermere, Cosy Nook is a superb holiday cottage, ideal for a romantic break.

Not big enough for 4
I booked this cottage to spend a week with my wife, daughter and her partner. On arrival at the cottage there was nowhere to park your car even though you are allowed a permit. The next door neighbour knocked on door to ask me to remove my car as my permit was to park not outside the house but on one of the streets outside. She also said that she owned the drive! This was very inconvenient as my wife is disabled and in a wheelchair. The cottage downstairs is very small and you would struggle for four people to live together for a week. The settee is far too big. It has a kitchen table and four chairs but these are pushed against the wall. If you pulled them out you wouldn't be able to get past anything! The upstairs of the cottage is beautiful and spacious but downstairs was cramped and not all that nice. My daughter and her partner moved out the next day to an apartment up the road as Cosy Nook is too small for four!

We found this cottage to be perfect for our needs. Everything seemed to have been thought through very well. The caretaker called and was very friendly and helpful. A beautifully quiet spot yet only a few minutes from the shops and excellent restaurants of Windermere village.

Absolutely fantastic cottage in an fabulous location! Surpassed our expectations on cleanliness! Beautifully finished to a high standard- would definitely recommend this cottage! The location was perfect for exploring the Lakes. Shops/cafes/pubs/takeaways a 5 min walk away. Brilliant!

Beautiful little cottage, very baby and dog friendly
Just spent a lovely week here with my partner, 4 month old son, in laws and our dog! Didn't want for anything our whole stay, very good modern facilities ie. Wifi, travel cot, fully equipped kitchen/bathrooms and wood burner. It is in a perfect location only minutes away from Windermere and a 15 minute walk to Bowness and the lake. The owners have also left a very helpful, comprehensive guide in the living room including instructions for heating etc, takeaway menus and even a list of dog friendly pubs in the area. We would definitely return and will be recommending to friends and family!!
