Mr
A lovely cottage. Llangynog is a quiet village at the end of the valley, 1 open pub, no shops, no garage etc. Great for walking in the Tanat Valley, lots of sheep, nice river etc.
The cottage is easy to find, 100m from the pub, on the outside of the bend. Small entrance hallway leading the into a large open plan lounge/diner/ L-shaped kitchen. Off the dining room is the large conservatory, and the family bathroom under the stairs. Above the kitchen is the open mezzanine bedroom. At the other end of the lounge, behind the fireplace, is the double bedroom (with small en suite shower room with loo), accessed from the entrance hallway. Above that (accessed from the lounge via its own stairs) is the twin/double room. All v comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, all mod cons. Home made cake waiting for us on arrival. Central heating throughout. Outside was the sunny yard/car park, with picnic table and bench.
We were very happy there. Don?t hesitate to book it!

What a beautiful cottage in a stunning location.. The New Inn will quickly become your goto for a beer or 2 and the food is "OK".. The cottage however is the gem.. We enjoyed the wood burner each evening as we relaxed after a day's hiking.. Bronze age ditch Fort within 40 mins walk and some scenery that will blow your mind. The owners were helpful and surprised when I rang for an axe to cut down some kindling, however we went for a walk and arrived "home" to a very sharp axe.! Loved our time there, the cottage was perfect..
The only slight negative was no shop in the village so stock up on what you need before you arrive as we had to make a 30 min journey after a 3 and a half hour journey to stock up but in the grand scheme of things my girl and I would visit Glendower again in a heart beat. A true gem..

The location is excellent for those who want to avoid the usual tourist traps and enjoy the countryside; there were plenty of walks from the doorstep. The layout of the living area in the cottage is excellent to allow for preparing the meals without missing out on what the rest of the party is doing.
