Magical Christmas This cabin is lovely inside and out! My children had the best time here. We arrived Christmas Eve to find the cabin decorated with lights,a large Christmas tree and festive table decor. The whole experience was amazing. The cabin was clean and tidy and very cosy. Perfect for a family with little ones. The owner has made this cabin very child friendly and even has toys for them to play with. Everything worked perfectly. The view from the cabin is a beautiful lake with ducks and feeding them bread in the morning became a routine with kids. They really loved it.After spending a week in this cabin we are abit sad to be home now but will definitely go back in future. I did not hear any planes taking off at all which I read from another review so not sure about that one. We did pay for passes to use the swimming pool for the kids and for my husband to use the gym but well worth it. The hot tub was great and very relaxing. Altogether a perfect holiday and a magical Christmas for our little ones. Big thumbs up from me staceyrhodes1988 2018-12-29
Perfect cabin for a break Nothing to complain about at this beautiful cosy cabin .. it?s very well equipped.we stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and on arrival it was so welcoming and Christmassy , decorations were like on a film, beautiful view over the lake .
The cabin was exceptionally clean , and fresh Bedding and towels were all nice quality .
They had even put in extra baking trays etc , giving attention to detail , knowing that we would be cooking full Christmas lunch .
All rooms are lovely and larger than expected . Both bathrooms have good showers in both.
It?s in a quiet area on the site , and this was a bonus that we were out of the way.
Key collection was straight forward and easy as was checkout.
The hot tub was clean and really a pleasure to just sit day or night, and relax , however the cabin sleeps 6 and the hot tub is only for 4 , not a problem for us but maybe for some . .. on a whole , I?d book again and am planning to rebook this cabin soon . One small thing , that if you plan to cook a lot whilst here the pealing and carving knives are not up to much ..but again I had my own as it?s the same most places I?ve been .. frillylondon64 2017-12-27
could be a nice lodge Good points: Lovely location, great fishing, lodge bedrooms very nice & clean.
Bad points: Told to ring owner for key number, owner on holiday would not answer mobile, had to ring Sykes, they gave me the wrong code, spent 20mins on phone to Sykes trying to find code. Walked into lodge was met with a big sign saying dish washer out of order. Had to wash all cutlery including drawer and cups, plates and pots & pans as they were filthy. Not the fridge freezer advertised by Sikes, it is a smaller one.Ants all over the kitchen floor & work surfaces. No storage space for food in cupboards. Freezer had someone else's food in it.Knob missing off microwave, some lights not working and cooker setting not visible. Not a private fishing peg, anyone can use them, which they did. 57trish2017 2017-06-02
Peace and Tranquility Beautiful holiday lodge in peaceful Lincolnshire. 41 Duck Lake is large, very comfy, warm, equipped with everything you need and immaculately clean. The location is superb, in a quiet part of the park, directly on the Lake, with a fantastic view. You could try getting up early, to watch all the Water Birds as the sun comes up. Or, chill out in the hot tub, late at night and gaze at the Stars. Highly Recommended. Mark P 2016-12-02
