RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Excellent,great hosts,location and accommodation:
We stayed here in late Sept and endured some atrocious weather , however with a fantastic cottage and lovely hosts we had a great time. We found the main road ideal for reaching Aberystwyth and then right up to Machynlleth and beyond. The cottage had every amenity and facility and we couldn?t of asked for more, even homemade cakes on arrival! Hoping to go back to this place ASAP.

ROAD NOISE ruins SLEEP
This cottage is on a very busy main road (A487) which is used by all traffic between Aberytswyth and Machynlleth. There was no mention or any photos to warn us of this important aspect when booking our holiday. The main bedroom is within a few feet of this busy road and you can hear all traffic including heavy lorries until around midnight, and it starts again early morning. I am a poor sleeper and despite using ear plugs could not get a good night sleep due to excessive traffic noise. This is important information and should have been available before booking rather than have our holiday spoiled due to poor sleep caused by road noise.

Lovely cosy warm property. Owners equally warm and friendly. Property ideally situated to enable us to go on walks without having to use the car.

Hen Efail was an excellent place to stay; very comfortable with enough space so that we were not crowded and very convenient for what we wanted to do with excellent facilities.

Great location near Aberdovey and Aberystwyth. There was plenty of parking and one of the best open plan lounges/dining rooms I've seen in a cottage. The owners were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful.
