The setting was perfect and the lodge was so well equipped, it was a real home from home.

Alder Lodge was extremely comfortable and clean and the finishing touches made it feel very homely. The location of the lodge was perfect; the river running around three sides and the ducks waddling up to see us made it idyllic. We really did not want to leave and will be returning.

What a beautiful place! This was the first time that we have booked a lodge to stay in and we absolutely loved it! It was in a fantastic position right next to the river, with incredibly thoughtful owners who have catered for your every need. There is absolutely everything you could possibly need and more besides! Highly recommended. Simply prefect!
