Fantastic cottage in a great location
Booked this cottage for a long weekend in Snowdonia as it had the best price, especially given the location. The cottage is well maintained and has a cosy feel to it, there was even a tray of homemade cake and jams. The facilities are all modern, yet do not detract from the authentic decoration. There is a balcony that is sheltered and catches the sun as well as offering great views of the mountains, the perfect place for an evening drink! There is plenty of space for parking, although the same space is used for turning so be considerate when parking. We came with two cars and had no issues. Bethesda is only a short walk away. The location of this cottage is fantastic, with easy access to the mountains and towns of Snowdonia and North Wales. There are also plenty of options for a great days in the mountains straight from the front door. The owners are kind and helpful, and made the whole process (booking etc..) quick and easy.

The only place to stay in North Wales!
My husband and I enjoyed a stay at Ty Isel for 6 nights, using it as a base for our visit to the nearby Zipworld attraction and our climb up Snowdon. The cottage is beautifully presented throughout and truly felt like a home away from home. Waiting on our arrival was homemade Bara Brith and preserves, which were absolutely delicious and such a lovely touch. The location is so peaceful, surrounded by sheep in the fields and yet only a mile from the centre of Bethesda where you can find shops and pubs. We experienced mixed weather during our stay and it made all the difference being able to cosy up in front of the woodburner after a full day exploring. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs and when the sun was shining, it was splendid to be able to sit out on the deck, taking in the views. We shall certainly be staying here again on our next trip to North Wales. Highly recommended!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location
We stayed for a long weekend in Ty Isel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautifully done, very comfortable, homely and welcoming. The welcome pack was a lovely touch with Welsh cake, preserve and treats for your dog. We loved the log burner in the lounge for cosy nights after busy days. The location is fantastic, very peaceful with amazing views and you are not far from the lovely beaches or from Snowdon. We will definitely be returning next year.
