This terraced cottage situated close to Colwyn Bay sleeps four people in two bedrooms.

Sunnyside Cottage is a mid-terrace property situated on the edge of the hamlet of Llysfaen, four miles from Colwyn Bay. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one bunk room, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for one car and a front patio with furniture and barbecue. With many attractions in the area, Sunnyside Cottage is an ideal base for families.

This cottage is in a lovely location, close to Llandudno and Conwy, surrounded by farmland. We enjoyed waking up to views of grazing animals in the neighbouring fields. We visited Llandudno and Conwy as well as Porthmadog which is a little further away. Unfortunately the cottage itself disappointed me. It was very small for the 4 of us. the beds were extremely uncomfortable which made back pains for a 6mth pregnant lady worse. I had to make several trips downstairs in the middle of the night to stretch to alleviate my pain because there was marginally more space in the lounge/diner/kitchen. The cottage itself could do with a deep clean, there was a bit of dust in places, the utensils in the cupboards weren't all very clean, and overall there was a faint smell of dogs (last time I book a pet friendly place). We struggled to keep warm, the storage heaters weren't sufficient. There was also little storage space for our clothes, we pretty much lived out of our suitcases, wardrobes had extra bedding and hoover bits and other things. Also there is no washing machine which after our outings would have been very handy. But of course the kitchen is so small there is simply no room for another appliance.

Lovely cottage
The cottage was in a lovely quiet location with beautiful views. Everything about the cottage was lovely. Nice furniture, well equipped and lovely Christmas decorations plus tea, coffee, wine e.t.c. e.t.c It was lovely and clean with plenty of towels and bedding provided. The owner was very helpful and came round straight away when we had a slight Wi-Fi problem. She soon sorted it for us.

Sunnyside Cottage is a lovely, cosy cottage. Nice peaceful area. Little tricky to find down very narrow roads. But would highly recommend in a beautiful part of North Wales.
