This charming holiday cottage sits on the owner's working livestock farm, three miles from Lyme Regis and can sleep six people in two bedrooms (26 if booked with attached property as a group).

Knowles is a comfortable, self-contained wing of a barn conversion, located on the owner's working sheep farm and country clothing business. Set entirely across the ground floor with one king-size bedroom, and a family bedroom, each with en-suite facilities, this cottage can sleep six people (26 if booked as a group with the attached property). There's also a compact kitchen and a sitting room with sofa bed and dining area, while outside, there is a small, private lawned area along with a shared one-acre paddock with furniture. Knowles offers couples, friends and families a charming base from which to discover this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with wonderful country and coastal walks within easy reach. Note: Working sheep farm; dogs to be kept under control and children to be supervised when outside of property. Note: The owner runs a country clothing business from an adjacent barn. Note: Guests staying on the sofa bed in the sitting room will share the en-suite facilities.

Nice dog friendly property
Spacious dog friendly property with two en suite bedrooms. Large lounge with dining area and a very small compact kitchen, but quite adequate for a week's holiday, comprising cooker, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, etc. Outside is a small enclosed garden which is great for dogs. A good base for visiting Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Seaton and Forestry Commission, Trinity Hill, a mile up the road which is ideal for dog walking. The donkey sanctuary is a few miles away in Sidmouth which is well worth a visit if you like donkeys. There is a nice dog friendly pub two miles up the road, Hunters Lodge Inn, which serves reasonably priced well cooked food. All in all we had a very pleasant week in November and would recommend.

Beds comfortable, great sitting room , roomy and comfortable. Great location
Mrs Coster

Had a delightful ambience. The location is superb for those wishing easy access to West Dorset/East Devon. Both Axminster and Lyme Regis are within reasonable walking distance through very beautiful countryside. The owners live on site and were very welcoming, accommodating and available.
