A lovely cottage sleeping two people in one bedroom.

Monkholme Cottage is a lovely, semi-detached, single-storey cottage in Threshfield. With one bedroom with a double and a single bed, it sleeps two people comfortably. The cottage also has a shower room, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside, there is a small decked patio, a lockable shed with room for two bikes, an outside tap and hose for washing cycles etc. and access to the owner's large enclosed garden, as well as off road parking. Monkholme Cottage is a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and beyond.

The moment we walked in the door we felt at home. Monkholme Cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished, with superb views over the garden and surrounding hills. The owners welcomed us as friends but were not intrusive. We loved the little touches like the bird feeder outside the french doors and the food for the birds in the shed. We found the details about walks to the village invaluable but this is not just a cottage for walkers, it is a lovely base to stay put in or go out from.

This cottage was very conveniently situated, it is in easy walking distance to Grassington, Linton, and of course to the excellent nearby pub in Threshfield. The views from the sitting room are sensational, and the owners, who live next door, were extremely friendly and helpful.

Monkholme Cottage had stunning views of the the Yorkshire Dales. It was lovely to wake up each morning to such a beautiful landscape. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return to this cottage, it was very cosy and peaceful.
Mrs Gardner

Thank you to the owners for the warm and friendly reception. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable and everything we had hoped it would be. We will definitely be back!
Mrs Le Roux

As soon as we arrived we were met by the owner who explained everything and then we were left on our own. The view from the lounge was everything that we expected. We were especially pleased that we did not have to take the car out as there were lots of lovely walks straight from the property. All maps for these walks were available for us to use at the property. We were confident that if we needed anything that the owner would be happy to oblige. Everything about the cottage was what we expected and more.
