Enjoying an elevated position with outstanding views, the cottage has been lovingly restored with a wealth of character and history to include one of few Cruck barn frames within the UK. Exposed beams, stone work, flagstone floors and fireplaces all add to its charm.

The village of Bourton–on–the-Hill features a small cluster of traditional 17th century cottages and is an ideal base for families and friends to enjoy the Cotswolds.

The village is quintessentially English with an award winning pub, and Cotswold food store a short distance. The Cotswold Way passes through for keen walkers, along with some great cycling. For enthusiastic gardeners there is Batsford Arboretum and garden centre.

Enjoy a day out at the Cotswold Farm Park, with a cream tea in Bourton-on-the-Water, or a visit to the famous motor museum. Cheltenham is great for a day at the races and hosts many festivals throughout the year including Food and Literature.

The accommodation is spacious, beautifully presented and offers FOUR bedrooms: 3 doubles and 1 twin.

Bathroom: with bath, shower and WC. Shower: with WC. Lounge: with TV/DVD and woodburner (first basket of logs included).

Further lounge: with TV/DVD. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with range cooker and oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and dining table. Outside: enclosed rear garden with BBQ, patio seating area, large lawn ideal for children and dogs, fantastic views across the village and countryside.

To the front, a traditional cottage garden. Amenities: roadside parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, heating and Wi-Fi included.

Regret no smoking. 1 small well-behaved dog welcome. Additional info: there is no a highchair however a booster seat is available.

A Z bed suitable for a child is available; guests would have to provide the bed linen for this. Location: shop 2 miles, pub within walking distance.
