Cromald Cottages are a perfect retreat for exploring Perthshire, Castles, fishing, golf, skiing, theatre, whisky distilleries and good shopping are all within in easy driving distance. Historic Places of interest within 1 hr drive are Blair Castle, Glamis castle, Scone Palace, the Cranog Centre.
A drive up and through the glen of Glenshee winding your way down into Braemar,is a beautiful drive with stunning scenery. Glenshee is Britain's most extensive ski area and is only 20 miles away from Cromald Cottages. Has the UK's Largest Ski Lift System extending over 4 mountains and 3 valleys.

Perthshire is home to some of the finest inland golf courses in the world and with 38 to currently choose from ? you'll be spoilt for choice! - Blairgowrie, Rosemount, Alyth, Pitlochry and Dalmunzie are all within a 30 minute drive from the Cottages. From Cromald Cottages you can set out on the Cateran Trail - A circular route 64 miles long following some of the old drove roads and ancient tracks across a varied terrain of farmland, forests and moors. It boasts breathtaking scenery.
Perthshire is also know as 'Big Tree Country' - have fun finding & viewing some of the largest trees in europe. Perthshire has so much to offer all year round, spend your days exploring and your nights relaxing in front of the woodburning stove. Our cottages are beautifully appointed for a perfect holiday from an enclosed garden to jigsaw puzzles, sky tv to a woodburning stove.

. Every year we love it so much we come home and book up again straight away. The cottages are ideal for us to visit the many lovely walks and sights nearby and - if the weather isn sunny, the cottages are also comfy enough to spend the day curled up on the sofa with a good book or playing one of the DVDs, or board games supplied' 'Thoroughly enjoyable stay and can understand why people return again and again.
