This wonderful, detached lodge, set on the former site of the Bleadon railway station near Weston-super-Mare, can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Westview is a wonderful lodge, set solely on the ground floor, three miles from Weston-super-Mare, on the former site of the Bleadon railway station. The property has two bedrooms, a king-size double room with an en-suite and a further bedroom with the option of being a twin or a double. There is also a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and a contemporary, open plan living space with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire.

Outside, through patio doors, there is a veranda where you can watch trains passing from Bridgwater to Bristol and also, a lawned garden with furniture. In a great, rural spot, with a beach and all the attractions of Weston-super-Mare close by, Westview is a wonderful spot for a family holiday.

Great place, very well appointed.
The location was excellent -well away from everything. The passing trains were great & added to out enjoyment. ?pool & hot tub?- did not see them. Beds great, facilities excellent. We are booked to come again.

Beautiful Lodge, but the trains spoil it
The lodge is beautiful inside and maintained to an excellent standard. The setting is lovely with views from the lounge and decking to fields of cows. The open plan living area is perfect and the rest of the accommodation ideal for two adult couples. The downside, and it is the reason I would not return to the property, is the very busy and noisy railway line which runs only a few meters from the lodge. It is a mainline and trains start thundering passed at 4.45am. They run every few minutes and are still running at 10pm. The effect of the high speed trains can be felt inside the lodge, as it causes vibrations. We ere aware that the lodge was close to the line, but not aware of the regularity and number of trains. It is such a shame as everything else about the lodge was so perfect.

Brilliant
Just returned from a week in this beautiful cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely and quiet. Michael the owner is a lovely gentleman and nothing is too much trouble. Took my mum and dad who really enjoyed it. Definitely going to book again soon.

excellent
Westview is a luxury lodge in Bleadon Westonsupermare. The description on the website describes it accurately. This beautifully equipped lodge is in a sun trap south facing garden only slightly marred by the nearby train track and busy road. Neither spoiled our stay. It is ideal for touring north somerset and the owner Mike is a real character. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the lodge to anyone. Great holiday venue

Loved this lodge, it was beautiful inside & out, comfortable and in an excellent position. Will be booking for next year, that says it all.
