Perfect location
My wife an I have just spent a lovely week at The Sand Dunes. Great location. Very close to the beach and local amenities (about two hundred yards from the beach, bus stops and shops). Good location for day trips. If you like walking, you can walk into Rye (about four miles). There are buses which run regularly in both directions including Rye, Hastings, Dymchurch, Folkestone, Dover etc. The property is clean with all the amenities you need. Plenty of space for two adults and two children. The beach is perfect for young families, sandy with lifeguards. Another major advantage is the private parking bay, just a few yards from the house - saving you ?12 a day parking fees. We would certainly recommend staying at this cottage and if we go back to this area, we would like to stay there again.

Lovely holiday
Group of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids 3 and 7) have just spent a lovely week at The Sand Dunes. Great location. Very close to the beach and local amenities (shops, great pubs). Good location for day trips. We visited Rye, Bodiam Castle, Hastings, Battle, Winchelsea, Dungennes. The property is clean with all the amenities you need. Plenty of space for 4 of us. Only 1 very minor gripe was the garden. Comfy chairs provided but the pebbles not great and needed weeding. But overall a lovely property.

Excellent cottage which suited our needs perfectly. Close to the dunes
We stayed here as 3 adults and 1 baby and overall we found the cottage very good and it met our needs for our stay perfectly. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the dunes and it meant that we could carry our baby to the beach and didn't have to worry about pushchairs / baby seats getting dirty and sandy (we saw many other parents struggling!). The property is generally in very good condition and is well decorated throughout and is made to feel very homely with some nice little decorations to add to the feel. It is well equipped and the kitchen had basically everything we could hope for in a holiday rental to help make your stay easier, including a good table and baby seat. The bedrooms were good size and comfortable for us, even with a cot (provided) in the room there was plenty of space. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was excellent! There were a few minor things that we didn't like; The toilet was "generous" and always left a present behind after every flush. There was no mattress for the baby cot. Given that we came from abroad this was a issue for us and we had to buy one specifically for our stay. The floor boards were squeaky, could be an issue if you have young kids in bed. The TV volume would go up and down all the time. It was worse on TV channels with poorly quality. The gardens front and rear were fully pebbled. This made it not a nice and welcoming place to sit outside The internet was a bit slow, but I assume this is an issue with Camber in general being such a small rural place, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh here! The pictures are a good representation of the property although some suggested that it actually is better than the photos! And I would not hesitate to stay again if we decide to come back to Camber.

A great place to stay with kids. There was a beach with dunes within a few minutes walking distance and a safe cycling route to Rye where we enjoyed great fish and chips. The seaside themed decoration throughout the cottage enhanced the relaxing holiday by the sea experience. Would definitely come back.
