Fantastic location in a traditional Isle of Skye stone cottage
This was a great place for us to stay. So close to Quiraing, which is a spectacular hike, the Kilt Falls, and the Old Man of Storr. The kitchen is very well equipped and will allow you to whip up some excellent home-cooked meals in this home away from home. Make sure you buy your food in Portree before you arrive. The host and hostess are very good communicators, live right next door, and run a working sheep farm. Their two border collies are a wonderful touch. Also, make sure you walk down to the beach right across the street. A beautiful walk and a beautiful beach. Not sure about the other review that described a pool and a hot tub. I do not think this cottage had those amenities.

An immaculate, comfortable property ideally situated to explore Skye.
During our weeks stay we felt so at home in this lovely, spacious property. Although there were only two of us, this three bedroom property would be spacious enough for two couples or a family. We ate most of our meals in and we appreciated the well organized and fully stocked kitchen...without exception we found everything we needed. Our charming hosts were very respectful of our privacy, but always willing to engage in a friendly chat about the area and life on Skye. Would highly recommend. Heather and Garry

We had a great stay at the holiday cottage, it is very cosy and comfortable with everything you need. The owners who live close by were very friendly and helpful but in no way obtrusive. Staffin beach is just a short walk down the hill, the kids loved this.

This was an exceptional holiday cottage, immaculate and very well managed. It is in a stunning location with outstanding views across Staffin Bay and has the dramatic Tortternish Ridge and Quiraing as its background. It is a great base to explore the whole island or just take in the beauty of the immediate area.

The owners are nice friendly people and their house is large, very well appointed, warm and scrupulously clean. The views are stunning and the location is very quiet. My family and I highly recommend this house for a holiday in Skye.
