Milton Cottage
Looked lovely at first glance then flaws started to appear. As a manager of a cleaning company I expected high standards. Kitchen wasnt cleaned very well. Dirty drawers and cupboards. A layer of grease and cobwebs above the cooker. Skirting boards, staircase and lamps etc upstairs not even dusted. Shower and mirror glass not polished. There is wifi there but it was hardly worth connecting to it as it was so slow or some nights it didnt want to connect at all. No hoover which was a bundle of laughs with 4 kids between the ages of 2 and 10years old. Never have I been in a holiday accommodation which doesn't have a hoover! Cooker was greasy and the oven wasnt cleaned either. I spent the 1st day of my holiday cleaning the kitchen equipment so we could make meals. Pots etc were dirty. The glasses were smeared. The unit the plates and glasses stood on was dusty as hell. Place mats needed cleaned. Needless to say we will not be back at this holiday accommodation in the future. It really needs some TLC and the cleaner needs to clean properly!

Good first impressions........
The cottage in real life was a good first impression, but went downhill after that. The bad soon appeared. Inside of badly fitting cupboards and drawers were dirty, gravy having been dropped in one of the drawers. Dirty plates stuck together, oven and microwave dirty, built in fridge had ?water? in the bottom of it, and smelled bad. Kitchen tap not fixed and moving. No teapot or frying pan. Placemats and coasters dirty. Nice wood burner, or it would have been but for the fact the door had no catch and could not be even nearly closed. There is bad mould buildup in two of the showers, and the two upstairs bedrooms suffer from very badly creaking floors, not very nice to listen to this on the ground floor. This could be an excellent rental, but is definitely suffering from lack of TLC. We regularly spend time in cottage rentals in Scotland, and I can say without doubt this is the worst we have stayed in, a great pity, it has made us think of our options in the future.

We went for 4 nights over Christmas with family and friends and had the an excellent time at Milton Cottage. Very spacious, clean and comfortable and in a very nice area. We will definitely be going back there. Thank you
Mrs Necula

We thought the cottage was excellent and it far exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and warm and inviting on arrival. The cottage was very spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. My husband and I are already recommending it to our family and friends, and will use the cottage again if we holiday in Speyside in the future.
Mrs Hughes

Centrally located for all areas of the river Spey. The cottage was well equipped and excellent for friends as it sleeps 8. The property has plenty of hot water and benefits from two en-suite bedrooms and a fully fitted ground floor bathroom. It was a great to be given access to the garage for secure storage of golf clubs and trailer. Thanks
