Absolutely beautiful
We've had a lovely week here and I would return without hesitation. The cottage is immaculate and very clean. There is everything you could want here. We went out and about but also made full use of the front and back garden. We sat the front garden at night with some wine and watched the birds going home to roost - magic! We have totally relaxed here and slept so well in the divine king size bed despite the heatwave. ?The Stairs? I?m disabled and yes they are steep as the description of the property says but I managed to get up them ok and to get down I went backwards - worked a treat - don't let that put you off. There is a b&b/ cafe just along the road - amazing food - a well stocked garage and 2 pubs - also don't miss the rockery up the road - sad to go home I wish we were here for 2 weeks.

Lovely cottage in beautiful part of Yorkshire
We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It is perfectly sized for 2 people with a generous bathroom and well stocked kitchen. The lounge has a comfy sofa and large tv/dvd player and open fire. The location is fabulous. We walked from the cottage following different circular walks each day, often involving a pub stop. The village has a well stocked garage, 2 pubs and 2 cafes as well as the beautiful Falls. We took our dog and the house was well equipped for this with an enclosed garden and front gate. Beware, the stairs are very steep (as advertised). There is no tumble dryer. We would stay again. Thank you.

Everything we expected it to be
A beautiful little cottage with some amazing views. As we walked into the cottage we were grateful to note the heating had been switched one prior to our arrival, the television was on standby and there was a variety of essentials provided such as; kitchen roll, hand washes, dish soap and enough milk for a few brews each. No bathroom products were included but fortunately we had taken our own. Our 2 dogs were able to stay with us too which was a bonus, although, despite being surrounded by fields we had to walk a fair few miles before finding somewhere to let them have a good run due to the lambing season. The large, comfy sofa was a god send when arriving back from a day of walking, although the steep stairs weren't so enjoyable haha! Thank you for a lovely stay

Perfect location for walks from Cherry Tree Cottage and also for driving to all areas of the dales. The village was also very nice and with the Asgarth falls and hotel just a short walk away it was perfect. The cottage was ideal for a couple and on the 2 days of cold weather was very cosy on our return.

An absolutely lovely little cottage in a location with easy access to all the other sites in the area. We are definitely going to come back again next year.
