This superb, terraced cottage near Windermere sleeps six people in three bedrooms.

Bluebells is a delightful, terraced cottage set between Bowness and Windermere, just over a mile from Lake Windermere. With three bedrooms, including one second floor king-size double with an en-suite, a further king-size double room on the first floor and a single bedroom with an additional pull-out trundle bed, the property can sleep six people. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor and a ground floor kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a gas fire.

Outside, there is roadside parking in the side street next to the property and a rear yard and paved area with furniture. Bluebells is a spacious, stone-built Victorian cottage in a perfect location for your Lake District getaway.

Perfect little cottage in an excellent location
Spent 2 nights in this lovely cottage, could not fault it at all, Sharon the housekeeper was fabulous and contacted us about any requirements before we visited. It's a fantastic location, parking is excellent and the cottage was spotless with some lovely touches eg fresh flowers in the kitchen/dining and chocolates in our rooms. Would recommend in a heartbeat and myself and my family will be booking again.

Lovely house in a handy location
The house was lovely, immaculately clean throughout well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked (although we mostly ate out - great choices locally). It was just over a 5 min stroll into the centre of Windermere. We didn't use the garden but there was a lovely seating area. Sharon the housekeeper was very helpful both before arrival and after we left (sending on favourite jeans which we managed to leave behind!).

Not great
The online photos of this cottage make it seem brighter, fresher and better cared for than it actually is. Having recently had a holiday here, I wouldn't recommend it. Although it is in a good location (5 minutes walk to the centre of Windermere), and has a spacious master bedroom with a comfortable bed and a good ensuite, other aspects of the property are lacking. It wasn't as spotless as I'd have liked. Some fixtures and fittings are tired and need replaced and the downstairs rooms are somewhat dark, dingy and unappealing.

Great location - just 5 minutes walk to Windermere
Great location, just 5 minutes walk to the centre of Windermere. Well furnished, comfortable and clean. Sharon the housekeeper was excellent with communication prior and after the stay. Would highly recommend this property!

Cosy Cottage Fab Location!
Booked this last minute for a holiday in half term! Stayed 4 nights and loved the lovely gas fire in the cosy front room. Bedrooms all clean and nicely decorated. VERY close to Windermere- 10 minute walk MAX! 30 second drive! Only downside is it is near a lot of other houses where people live as opposed to other people on vacation so if you love the 'holiday' feel this may not be for you
