Excellent accommodation
I couldn?t agree more with previous guests? comments - The Coates really is exceptionally good accommodation with everything you could possibly need for a week or more away. It is luxurious, spacious and comfortable and so pristine and clean that you could almost eat off the floors! It is also very well situated in a beautiful area ideal for local walks and for day trips. There is a farm shop and a pub just down the road (in opposite directions!) and it is almost equidistant between convenient Church Stretton and beautiful Much Wenlock. What more could you want? Our thanks to the owners for a lovely stay.

Outstanding and Pet Friendly
We have been staying in The Coates Holiday Cottage for a week and just arrived back home.
The cottage is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Shropshire and you are able to walk from the gate to Wenlock Edge. If you have dogs or and children they are very safe in the fenced off garden. There are some area's in the fencing where a dog could get from the garden into the field or the other way round. Someone's dog has been trying to dig out. I had forgot to mention it this morning when leaving but feel sure the owner would rectify this without any problem. Watching the birds from the kitchen window was a great. Woodpeckers, Blue Tits, Finches are only a few who visit and the food supplied for them must cost the owner a fortune. I would take some with me if I went again.
As for the cottage we were blown away by it. I personally am very hard to please when it comes to booking cottages, so much so that no one else will take the task on as they say it would not be good enough for me. It is the cleanest cottage I have ever stayed in. The bedding, bathrooms, utensil draws nothing showed any sign of any dust or grime and gets 10 out of 10 first class. Beautiful inside and is kept to a very high standard.
What I was also impressed about was the chaps working on the farm. So pleasant and friendly. Don?t know his name but the silver haired man was lovely. Nobody bothered you you were there to enjoy your holiday but when people find the time of day to be pleasant it makes it so much better.
Very much tempted to make a return visit. Beautiful views and countryside along with a fabulous cottage you really can?t ask for more.
