Superb Location and Hosts
Wow what a week we've just had at Firbank Cottage, it couldn't have been better. Super property with everything you need to have a great time, sitting in the sun lounge or outside the garden is amazing.
Castleton is lovely there is a well stocked Co-Op, smashing pubs and a train station which will take you to Whitby or Middlesbrough. We had some great walks across the moors which were stunning.
A lovely lovely holiday and one which will last long in the memory. We will return :-)

The garden and surrounding woodlands are stunning - great fun for the family to explore before even leaving the property. Walks over the moors are available from the front gate and the Yorkshire coastline has plenty to offer within a short drive.

The owners were gracious, charming and very welcoming hosts to this wonderful little cottage in an idyllic garden setting. The cottage is cosy, with everything one could possibly need, with a spacious and airy conservatory overlooking a well tended garden that was overflowing with spring flowers during our visit. The log fireplace in the lounge was a wonderful place to retire to after dinner each evening. The cottage adjoins the main home, which is reassuring, but is entirely private. Thoroughly recommended.
