Homely and comfortable
We really enjoyed our stay for a long weekend. Good facilities, well stocked kitchen, lovely sized rooms and very comfortable beds. Would definitely return.

Almost Perfect
A very well equipped cottage, with great walks right on the doorstep and a pub that serves good food literally just around the corner. It was generally clean and comfortable, with just one flaw. The shower is very difficult to control, it would switch between hot & cold for no apparent reason. Tried running the basin tap as suggested by a previous guest but then the shower only trickled. We managed it but it really does need improving. Apart from that everything was great. ,

4 Cherry Tree Cottages is a lovely little cottage in excellent location. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and the log burner was lovely.

The cottage was fantastic and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. The area is stunning with so much to do right on your doorstep.

The wood burning stove in the living room was a lovely touch, and added to the overall extremely comfortable feel. The cottage's welcome book was informative and detailed, with a lovely tone. Everything we needed or could have wanted was available and very much appreciated. The location is superb, and the cottage had walking books which we used around Castleton. The local pub, recommended in the welcome book, had an extremely nice feel.
